School Council

The school council’s responsibilities are varied and include developing community links, and raising money for charities.

This year they have been looking into the safety of wearing earrings at school and have carried out research and surveys to find out other people’s opinions.

Look back soon to find out the outcome of these findings.

Members of our school council attend Safer Schools meetings each year. They contribute to discussions about managing risk in school (risk assessments) and how they and their class mates can learn to take increasing responsibility for their own safety on a day to day basis(bymaking well-judged, thoughtful choices based on the guidance that they have been given).

The school council have also been busy supporting the whole school introduction of building learning power (BLP) and have been reminding each other and class teachers to use it correctly in lessons.
